June 15, 2015, which states that Wilbur Thompson was born in Hackensack.

I do not know at this time whether Wilbur Thompson went through the Hackensack School System, but there are two people named Thompson listed under World War II on the Original Wall Unit, and he was born in Hackensack.

The article only states he served in the Army Air Force and his age at 93 clearly puts his service during World War II.
